Balnaves Gift artworks currently under conservation
In preparation for the forthcoming launch of the Balnaves Gift on the 5th July, some of these valuable artworks and their frames are currently receiving conservation treatment.
Shown here are specialist conservators Barbara and Grzegorz Dabrowa hard at work at the Gallery.
Their current work includes stabilisation and treatments of framing for Arthur Streeton’s Sydney Harbour, 1895 and Conrad Martens’ View from Craigend, 1840.
