This workshop will introduce children to the concept of natural colorants obtained from food waste and organic ingredients such as onion skins, different teas and turmeric. Participants will be shown the basic technique of heating the dyes, and then will pattern the soy milk treated cotton cloth by using some tie-dye and shibori principles and dyeing them.

Please bring two plastic bags to take work home.
