In this two-hour workshop with emerging artist and previous Mosman Youth Art Prize winner, Dilara Niriella, students aged 12-15 years old will learn the ideas and techniques behind still life painting. Inspired by Dilara’s paintings, participants will create their very own contemporary still life painting of everyday objects.

About Dilara Niriella
Dilara is a Sydney-based practicing artist who recently completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) at the University of NSW and has just commenced a Master in Heritage Conservation at University of Sydney. She has been a finalist in a number of prizes including the Jenny Birt Award, Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize and the Mosman Art Prize, and has been a winner in the Mosman Youth Art Prize and the Young Archies at the Art Gallery of NSW. She is a teacher at Young Artists art school and is a presenter on Channel Seven’s Get Arty.
