Mosman artist Peter Clague presents a series of new paintings titled The New Moons which explores how our lives are played out with all the absurdity and drama of being human while the moon hovers over us almost non-judgementally. Experimenting with colour and figuration, Clague depicts scenes from his life in Mosman as well as images from Japanese festival culture, captured during visits to his wife’s home town in Japan.
