Getting Here

The Mosman Art Gallery is close to Spit Junction and just a short walk from Military Road. It is opposite Alan Border Oval at the corner of Myahgah Road and Art Gallery Way (formerly Short Street).

Public transport

Bus

  • From the Inner West – the high frequency service Metrobus 30 connects Mosman with Newtown and Enmore via the City.
  • From the City – buses leave from Stand A, Wynyard, at the corner of Margaret and Carrington Street.
  • From the Northern Beaches – any bus traveling to the city sets down at Spit Junction.
  • From North Sydney Station – buses from Stand A, Blue Street, travel to Spit Junction.
  • From Chatswood Station – buses to Manly start at station interchange Stand M and stop at Spit Junction.

Mosman Rider

Our free hail-and-ride community bus, the Mosman Rider, runs on a 30 minute loop around Mosman. See MosmanRider.net for route map and indicative timetable.

Ferry

Sydney Ferries operate regularly from Circular Quay to Mosman Wharf with a bus connection to Spit Junction.

Car parking

There is limited free street parking in 2 hour parking zones.

The closest parking stations are the Vista Street Carpark (113 spaces, including 2 disabled) in Vista Street and the Bridgepoint Parking Station (268 spaces, including 4 disabled) in Brady Street.

Walking

The Gallery is five minutes from Military Road, Spit Junction.

Physical Access

  • Two dedicated parking spaces for people with disabilities at the side of the Gallery and Community Centre (corner Vista Street and Art Gallery Way)
  • Permanent ramp at the front of the Gallery leading directly to Gallery Foyer
  • Lifts to all exhibition spaces
  • One wheelchair available on request
  • Wheelchair accessible toilet (ground floor)
