Mosman Youth Art Prize 2013
This annual competition was initiated in 1988 by the internationally renowned artist and local resident Ken Done AM. The Prize is open to all young people aged 12-21 years and is one of the richest Youth Art Prizes in Australia.

Over $14,000 in cash prizes, art scholarships and materials are awarded to junior, senior and tertiary artists who can submit artworks in a variety of art media including; painting, photography, drawing, sculpture/installation, printing and video.
The competition is aimed at encouraging the creative talents of young people and providing a showcase for their works.

Information for entrants
Unsuccessful entries must be collected from Mosman Art Gallery between Monday 27 May – Wednesday 29 May, 10am – 5pm. Works not collected at this time can only be collected by making an appointment with the Gallery administrator on (02) 9978 4178. Works not collected by 2nd July 2013 may be disposed of.
The Award Presentations function will be held at the Mosman Art Gallery on Thursday 30 May at 6.30pm. Entry will be $8 per person, $6 concession, $20 per family. FREE entry to exhibited artists.
Entrants short listed to win a prize will be notified and are required to attend the Awards Presentation.
EXHIBITION OF ARTWORKS
All works must remain in the exhibition until it finishes on 30 June 2013. The exhibition will be open to the public from Saturday 1 June to Sunday 30 June during the following times: 7 Days, 10am to 5pm.
COLLECTION OF EXHIBITED ENTRIES
Entries must be collected between 3.00pm and 5.00pm Sunday 30 June or between 10.00am and 6.00pm Monday 1 July 2013 at Mosman Art Gallery. Works not collected at this time can only be collected by making an appointment with the Gallery administrator on (02) 9978 4178. Works not collected by 30 July will be disposed of.
