“Ann and Sophie Cape are mother and daughter.
Both are striking women and accomplished artists.
Ann has been a finalist in many prizes including the
Archibald, Portia Geach, Moran Portrait Prize and
the Dobell Drawing Prize to mention a few.
Sophie has taken a journey from extreme athlete to
artist with a passion to match her competitive
sporting past. Sophie was the winner of the
Figurative Drawing Prize at the National Art School
in 2010 awarded by John Olsen and a finalist in the
Portia Geach Award for 2009 to 2012 and the
winner in 2014.”
