Mosman Art Gallery offers a range of programs for children and families in the wonder and excitement of art. We love kids in the Galleries, and we encourage them to look with their eyes, not their hands.
Each month the littlest kids can join in the fun with our free, drop-in workshop Art Explorers and babies and their carers can join us for Baby Art.

During the school holidays we offer Art Now – School Holiday Workshops.

Art Explorers

Art Explorers is a free, drop in art-making session for preschool aged children and their parents or carers. This monthly program, led by an art educator, encourages an early start to art appreciation and creative learning by responding to the artworks on display in the Gallery space. No bookings required. Sponsor partners.

Art Now

Art Now is a program for primary and high school aged children led by artist educators every school holidays. The workshops are a fun exploration of a range of materials and give an insight into the facilitating artists’ own artistic practice. There are multiple sessions tailored to suit different age groups, with a changing roster of artists and fresh perspectives for each holiday throughout the year.

Baby Art

Mosman Art Gallery hosts a program dedicated to parents and carers with young babies, focusing on art and wellbeing. These sessions offer a peaceful, inclusive environment where caregivers can engage in art appreciation and wellness activities while bonding with their little ones. With baby-friendly tours, creative art activities, and relaxation practices, these tours aim to support both grown-up and child, creating a nurturing space for exploration and connection amidst our inspiring exhibitions.
