The Drift in Between: a contemporary shadow performance
The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Sydney, in collaboration with Mosman Art Gallery, is proud to present The Drift in Between, a contemporary shadow performance by Thai artist Sutarath Sinnong, on Saturday, 18 July 2026 at The Grand Hall, Mosman Art Gallery.
The Drift in Between is a performance mirroring a journal of memories, emotions, and the exploration of light and shadow. Crafted from real-life stories, it highlights selected fragments of feelings and moods.
With no spoken dialogue, the production relies solely on light, shadow, and music to create an open space for the audience to feel, interpret, and journey through the experience in their own way. Rather than focusing on a conventional narrative, it invites each viewer to discover their own unique meaning within the shadows.
Reception: 5:30 PM
Opening Remarks & Performance: 6:00 PM
Running Time: Approximately 50 minutes
