Historic Morpeth was once a bustling river port that served the entire New England area. Many of the town's fine heritage buildings are now classified by the National Trust and there will be lots of time to explore the many excellent craft shops and art galleries that are housed in these buildings. Morpeth also has a great array of cafes for morning tea.

The coach will then travel to Maitland Regional Art Gallery Café for a 2 course lunch. After lunch, there will be a presentation on the current exhibitions and you will then have time to peruse the gallery at your leisure. One of the exhibitions on show will be Moving House, a collaborative exhibition between artist couple Peter and Susan O'Doherty. The exhibition reflects their childhoods living in families that were perpetually on the move.

Bus departs from Mosman Art Gallery at 8.00 am returning at approximately 6.00 pm.
