Learn about nature and ceramics! This workshop is aimed at kids aged 8 - 14 and is in relation to the exhibition Sediment by Yasmin Smith at Mosman Art Gallery. The workshop will involve foraging for branches and leaves to help make a ceramic artwork with the aid of Artist Educator Sarafina Power. Kids will also have the opportunity to create a wax sculpture of kelp, just like Yasmin's work.
This artmaking workshop will show how art and science intersect. Kids will also be able to hear from Yasmin herself!
