Join artist Yasmin Smith on a walking tour of the landscape that is directly referenced in her exhibition Sediment at Mosman Art Gallery.

Start the tour down at Chowder Bay (Koree, Mosman), walk through the bush track and revel in the beautiful branches of the Angophora. Listen and learn as Yasmin explains the social, historical and chemical ecology of the site. The tour leads to Middle Harbour / Gubbuh Gubbuh 10 Terminal Space, where Yasmin will lead a workshop, learn about distilling, ceramic vessels and the chemistry involved.

You will distill the angophora leaves to create a scent, Yasmin will then walk you through clay making of a vessel to house the scent. Learn about the intersection of art and science, walk though the beautiful bush and get your hands dirty with some clay!
