Come aboard this full day excursion to enjoy a guided tour led by local history expert Carol Roberts from the Hawkesbury Valley Heritage Tours. After enjoying morning tea at one of Australia’s oldest churches at Ebenezer we will visit some of the sites frequented by artists such as Streeton, Ashton and Conder. This will include the Streeton Lookout to view the Hawkesbury River where it is believed Streeton painted Purple Noon’s Transparent Might. Lunch will be served at the beautiful Tizzana Winery and will also include wine tasting and a short talk on the history of the winery. After lunch, there will be a visit to the artist studio of Mosman Art Prize winner Greg Hansell.
Bus departs Mosman Art Gallery at 8.30am returning at 5pm $75.00 members/$85.00 non-members. A two course lunch is included. Please note extra drinks can be purchased separately. Please advise of any special dietary requirements. Book early to avoid disappointment as spaces are limited.
