Take a trip back in time with Hilda Rix Nicholas, her sister Elsie and friend Dorothy to the streets, salons and ateliers of early 20th century Paris. This entertaining talk presented by archivist Karen Johnson is based on the rich contents of the Hilda Rix Nicholas Archive held at the National Library of Australia. Journals and letters carefully preserved, in some cases for over a century, allow these adventurous women to speak to us in their own voices of their experiences.
