Join two of the winning artists for some personal insights into their art practice and works within the 2013 Mosman Art Prize.

Rachel Ellis, is the winner of the major prize for her work Bathurst landscape – William Street. Rachel is well known for her light filled works and practice working ‘in situ’ drawing and painting urban landscapes, domestic interiors and still life.

Rachel is joined by Alan Jones, Winner of the Allan Gamble Memorial Art Prize for his work Kirk Andrews upon Esk # 3. Alan Jones’ work explores ideas that surround notions of identity. Jones works across a broad spectrum of mediums and takes a personal approach to subject matter, tracing his family’s heritage and reflecting on Australian colonial history.
