Enjoy a two day tour to Canberra to visit a unique exhibition at the National Gallery of Australia of prominent Australian Impressionist, Tom Roberts.
Roberts painted at a number of outdoor locations, including Mosman’s Little Sirius Cove, to produce some of the country’s favourite paintings. This exhibition offers the opportunity to see more than 130 of his artworks, from landscapes in the bush to urban life, encapsulating the quintessential Australian character at the turn of the 19th Century. Included are some of Robert’s most recognizable paintings such as Shearing the Rams and the Big Picture – which depicts the opening of the first Australian Parliament in 1901.
