The Cube: Remy Faint

Delineation of a trace is a new installation by contemporary artist Remy faint that engages with the interplay of silhouettes and transparencies. Centred around a layered paper-based installation, the exhibition presents a fragmented and speculative dialogue between past and present that reflect upon traces of materialities through personal references tied to Remy’s Chinese heritage.

Layered architectural interventions reminiscent of veils or curtains act as both thresholds and surfaces. Using paper and silk as painting and sculptural substrates, the installation also includes a diverse material palette – ranging from ceramic components to fabric assemblages. Together, these forms coalesce into a speculative archive – neither fixed nor resolved, but unfolding as a constellation of imagined materialities and histories.
