In this new body of work, Mosman artist Michael Herford, presents both paintings and drawings. His recent paintings engage with both organic and geometric forms, overlapping and juxtaposed to create new shapes and a deeper image. The artist’s colours are often vibrant and contrasting, and the palette controlled and limited.  Michael’s drawing style embodies a range of stylistic approaches such as detailed studies and cartooning, expressing himself in both serious and light hearted ways.
