Experience a new 10km waterside cultural walk where you can experience the beauty of Mosman through the eyes of the many artists who lived and worked here.

This unique cultural walk along the Mosman foreshore allows you to follow in the footsteps of famous artists and explore the stunning harbour landscapes that inspired them. Experience the beauty of Mosman's waterways and hidden coves, and see same scenes captured by painters including Margaret Preston, Arthur Streeton and Ethel Carrick Fox.

Mosman Art Trail is a series of 12 permanent signs installed at 12 different locations where artists captured the view on canvas. Each sign reproduces an artwork from Mosman Art Gallery's Collection and The Balnaves Gift, a group of significant works depicting Mosman donated by local businessman Neil Balnaves. Additional spoken word commentary explaining the history of each work, read by actor Claudia Karvan, is available via QR code and on the Mosman Art Trail collections webpages.

Meander the 10km circuit at your own pace, or explore shorter sections and keep coming back. The walk is suitable for most ages including children (with steps in some places).

Visit the Mosman Art Trail collections webpages for a map of the trail, tips for walking the trail and more information on the individual artworks.
