As part of our regular Art Explorers program for children aged 3-5 years, MAG has produced a series of short online tutorials taught by our art educator Emily. The videos include simple educational activities designed to be undertaken at home using easily accessible materials.
We are excited to present a new art making video for kids aged 8 years over. Textile artist Karen Tam shows us how to create beautiful designs through the process of natural solar dyeing which utilises household materials and objects.
You may be familiar with Karen’s work as her designs are regularly stocked in the Galleria and she has previously led dyeing workshops through our Art Attack school holiday program.
Adult supervision is recommended for children aged 8-12 years.
