Level 1 and 2 Galleries

The Level 1 and Level 2 Galleries are our main exhibition spaces. We host our major exhibitions in these galleries, sometimes the one show will be spread out over both levels, or two different shows will be on display concurrently.

In Profile Gallery

The In Profile exhibitions are the first thing you see as you enter Mosman Art Gallery. Located on the ground floor, this space is dedicated to showing the work of artists who live and work in our community. Whenever you come to Mosman Art Gallery you will always be able to see the work of a local artist.

The Cube

This exhibition space is dedicated to video, installation and speculative practice. Located on Level 1, this gallery can be reconfigured to support its experimental curatorial program.

Neil Balnaves Gallery

This Gallery displays works from the Mosman Art Collection, which incorporates the Balnaves Gift, which celebrate Mosman’s artistic heritage including works by Margaret Preston, Ethel Carrick Fox, Elioth Gruner and Arthur Streeton.

The Grand Hall

Originally a Methodist Church building, the Grand Hall has impressive architectural features, such as stained glass windows, a soaring interior which creates excellent acoustics, rich timber detailing and polished floors, which give the room an atmosphere of heritage and tradition. The perfect venue for a wedding reception, party, corporate function or large gathering, the Grand Hall can accommodate over 200 people. A fully equipped commercial kitchen adjoins the hall.

Harmony Room

Located on the ground floor of the Centre, the Harmony Room is a multipurpose space suitable for a range of activities. The room is air-conditioned and includes modern architectural detailing with polished floors, which create a light and airy atmosphere. These rooms are commonly used for community meetings and leisure activities.
