What’s On
Mosman Art Gallery hosts a range of exhibitions across our five gallery spaces, including community exhibitions, a focus on the work of local artists, exhibitions that tell the stories of Mosman and its people, as well as thoughtfully curated art exhibitions for our community to enjoy.
Most exhibitions are curated by Mosman Art Gallery’s curatorial team. We frequently call for entries to our annual exhibitions such as the Mosman Art Prize, Mosman Youth Art Prize and our biennial 2088: Artists of Mosman. If you would like our curatorial team to find out about your work, head to our FAQ page to find out more.
Mosman Art Gallery has five gallery spaces. They are:
The Collection Gallery: this gallery displays works from the Mosman Art Collection, which incorporates the Balnaves Gift, which celebrate Mosman’s artistic heritage including works by Margaret Preston, Ethel Carrick Fox, Elioth Gruner and Arthur Streeton.
In Profile Gallery: the In Profile exhibitions are the first thing you see as you enter Mosman Art Gallery. Located on the ground floor, this space is dedicated to showing the work of artists who live and work in our community. Whenever you come to Mosman Art Gallery you will always be able to see the work of a local artist.
The Cube: this exhibition space is dedicated to screen-based, installation and speculative practice. Located on Level 1, this gallery can be reconfigured to support its experimental curatorial program.
Level 1 and Level 2 Galleries: the Level 1 and Level 2 Galleries are our main exhibition spaces. We host our major exhibitions in these galleries, sometimes the one show will be spread out over both levels, or two different shows will be on display concurrently.
