Created during a period of personal uncertainty, INTERSTICE explores how transformation occurs through observation, adjustment, and reciprocity. Drawing on the form and ecological knowledge embedded within Aboriginal fish traps, the work considers structures that remain responsive rather than fixed, adapting to tides, currents, and changing conditions.
Like the fish trap itself, the interstice becomes a space of exchange and possibility, where new forms emerge not through control, but through attunement to what is already in motion.
