Eleni is a Greek Australian visual artist living and working on Gadigal Land. She works across a diverse range of media, including sculpture, photography, video, installation, and painting. Her practice is instinctual, layered, and enduringly autobiographical.
Eleni’s paintings are formally concerned with shape, figure, and colour. They engage with the strangeness of the body, existence, and expression in a way that is both commanding and playful. As if caught mid-act, the figures are often looking directly at the viewer, inviting them into a conversation they did not know they wanted to have.
