An Unending Shadow is an exhibition of artworks by prominent Australian mother and daughter artists, Ann and Sophie Cape. The exhibition examines the emotional and psychological ‘spaces’ that people with dementia inhabit, as well as those of their family, friends and loved ones.

This exhibition presents selected works from the Mosman Art Gallery collection which have been acquired through donations and bequests. Together, these paintings reveal the delight artists have taken in Mosman vistas over a hundred year period from 1838 to 1955.

Mosman Art Society formed in June 1995 and will celebrate 20 years of continuing the rich artistic heritage of Mosman with an anniversary exhibition.

In a unique collaboration, the three major Sydney independent public galleries, Manly Art Gallery, Mosman Art Gallery and the National Trust’s S. H. Ervin Gallery, have worked together in partnership with curator Lou Klepac to host an exhibition which showcases iconic artworks by nine major Australian artists all responding to the theme of Sydney as a destination for creative endeavours.
