The Mosman Youth Art Prize is an annual exhibition organised by Mosman Council which features the diverse talents of young, aspiring and emerging artists aged between 12 and 21 years. It was initiated in 1988 by the internationally renowned artist and local resident Ken Done AM.
Mosman Council and Mosman Art Gallery acknowledge Audi Centre Mosman as the gold sponsor of the Mosman Youth Art Prize. J.D. Reforma remembers the Mosman Youth Art Prize
Follow the story of J.D. Reforma as he recounts how his experiences with the Mosman Youth Art Prize and his relationship with the Mosman Art Gallery, affected his current journey as a 24 year old young emerging artist. This 6 minute video traces the triumphs and surprises along the way of a 15 year old art student who comes to realise that it is possible to be acknowledged as an artist and to pursue a career in the arts.

If your artwork does not appear in this list you must come and collect it from the gallery on Monday 24th, Tuesday 25th or Wednesday 26th March between 10am – 5pm. Works not collected cannot be stored at the gallery so collection on these dates is essential for the safety of the artwork.
