Korean artist Yiwon Park’s drawing animation Mythical truth is a new experiment in the artist’s process of art making. ‘Black swan’ is the first part of the Mythical truth project and is a personal response to the recent ferry disaster at Jindo, Korea in which several hundred children were drowned at sea. The black swan is employed as a metaphor for uncertainty and raises questions about conflict, identity, social issues and humanity.
